Leafamino? Leafchero? No, it’s the ElectricUte. Some guys at Nissan did this a few years back as a team building exercise. I want to make one now:
The (small) problem with this particular one is it isn’t very truck-like. There’s not a lot of ground clearance. So give it a bit of a lift, and some knobbier tires, like so:
Even that paint job looks nice.
With a name like that, seriously, how can I not do this? Use Leaf prices are dropping down. I’ve seen a few listed for $<6K USD, which is down there.

I think small electric utes should look more utilitarian like mini trucks:
A 500e, smart, or Soul EV I think have better proportions for this. I really hate the front end of the Leaf.

I hear you. But in some cases, you have to work with what you’ve got. :P A Soul EV could totally work...

Hmmm, I have a beat up 2012 Leaf. And a need for a junk hauler.
If I can just figure out a way to give it decent towing capacity, I may need someone to hold my beer....
